Christine Eisley is the mother of seven-year-old Zach and five-year-old Haley. Her ex-husband provides little, if any, child support and makes life difficult for Christine by using the children as pawns. She works long hours as a waitress to make ends meet, but her job is in jeopardy because she’s often late to work due to the unreliable teenaged sitters she’s forced to use. Twas the Night Before Everything

This looks like a great read!

Beautiful Life with Cancer

It’s modern day.  Things are different now.  That’s what we always think.  A baby being born of a virgin?  The guiding star in the sky?  A boy raised a carpenter that heals the sick and makes the blind to see?  A death on a cross that takes away all my sins?  Are we children?  Are we supposed to believe in miracles?

Christmas Eve.  Is tomorrow a fairy tale for children?  Is it only about the presents and the stockings and the here and the now?  If Christmas is not real, then this life that I live is meaningless.

Where do you get your morals?  You choose what is right for you?  What about a serial killer?  Oh, they don’t get to decide.  What about terrorists?  You get to decide until it brings harm to someone else?  Then I am only in this for me.  Then it is survival of the…

Love this! Fabulous review!

By The Book

731153In The Legend of St. Nicholas, the new artwork, created by Marley and Me illustrator, Richard Cowdrey, captivates audiences and tells the story of a young man named Nicholas, who was moved by the plight of the poor and needy. Nicholas spent his life secretly helping the poor all over the world, giving gifts on Christmas Eve to remind people of the greatest Gift of all, Jesus Christ. This gentle Christmas book introduces the original St. Nicholas and offers inspiration for readers to become cheerful givers themselves. The final pages in the book include fun Father Christmas traditions in other lands.

the christmas wish 2My Review

This book is absolutely fabulous. From the amazing photographs and costumes to the storyline that captures the heart of all readers.

This is a humble yet fascinating story that emphasis kindness and displays the true spirit of Christmas. It is a story set in Norwegian ancestry where young girl’s dreams come true.

Anja’s dream is to be one of Santa’s elves. She is a delightful blue-eyed girl who shows the gift of kindness to everyone she meets.

Anja sets out on an exciting journey to find Santa. Through her travels she meets many kind creatures and caring people. Not once does she hesitate to help those who need it.

After many adventures, Anja reaches her destination and finds Santa. And then the true journey begins.

This story has a much needed message, especially during the holidays.

I highly recommend this wonderful book to add to your Christmas or library collection.
